| Description of duties |
Role Purpose -
This role is responsible for implementing best in class technology solutions with key AgriEdge growers, including seeds, traits, crop protection, and seed care products.
Syngenta’s AgriEdge Excelsior technology and risk management offer will be foundational to this approach. The successful candidate will coordinate Syngenta’s technology offerings into a comprehensive solution, delivered with a high-level of personalized service.
Accountabilities -
- Position Syngenta seeds and traits technology with key AgriEdge growers
- Serve as expert resource on seeds and traits technology to Mid-South field force
- Implement and administer AgriEdge Excelsior offer, to include sales, marketing, technical, and customer service aspects
- Position whole farm solutions to optimize grower profitability
- Provide business planning and technical support to enrolled growers
- Coordinate on-farm product demos with TSRs/Seed Agronomists
- Identify additional opportunities to grow revenue and share in SFC crop markets, with emphasis on Syngenta’s seeds and traits portfolio
- Align efforts to complement district(s) sales goals (Seeds, CP, SC)
- Analyze program data, develop value propositions, and manage risk exposure of use program

| Qualifications sought |
Critical knowledge:
- A broad knowledge of Syngenta’s product portfolio and of corresponding crop markets
- Expertise in corn and soybean agronomy, crop marketing
- The ability to recognize competitive activities in the marketplace and respond effectively to minimize impact without compromising profitability targets
- Specific knowledge regarding Syngenta’s seed portfolio, traits, and product fit for individual growers in the Mid South geography
- Ability to position new Syngenta Seed trait technology as part of the overall AgriEdge Excelsior offer to growers
- Knowledge of SFC agricultural market, customers, and distribution channels
Critical experience:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agriculture
- The candidate must demonstrate leadership, innovative thinking, and calculated risk-taking
- The candidate must have experience in seed sales, marketing, and customer relations

Additional Information -
- This position will cover LA, MS and Southeast AR. Individual to live in MS or LA.
- Operating expenses are managed within budget
- Grower "pull through" strategies are implemented and measured for effectiveness
- Ability to define and identify new and innovative ideas/strategy recommendations
- Ability to work closely with field personnel to ensure consistency in customer service with no duplication of effort at targeted customers
- Travel Requirements - 50%
