Description of duties CropLife America (CLA) seeks a Director, Environmental Policy responsible for the development, implementation and management of effective sci/reg policy strategies on environmental issues in support of CLA’s objectives, including matters that impact both pesticides and other crop technology products. Also, responsible for leading and executing consensus-based initiatives of member committees and other groups in cooperation with the advocacy and communications departments of the organization.
Qualifications sought Advanced degree required, preferably in environmental or agricultural sciences with emphasis on chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, risk assessment, or environmental monitoring. Seven to ten years of experience in agricultural environmental science and/or regulatory affairs a must.
