| Description of duties |
The student will conduct research in tomato and bell pepper evaluating the effectiveness of allyl isothiocyanate as a methyl bromide alternative.
If the student is pursuing a PhD, a laboratory component involving HPLC, GC, and GM-MS will be included. The student must prepare a research proposal, conduct experiments,
analyze and interpret data, write annual reports, and present findings at regional or national meetings. Additionally, the student will be expected to work on other projects in cotton, rice, soybean, and corn.

| Qualifications sought |
Minimum grade point average of 3.0. Demonstrated written and oral proficiency. Excellent work ethic. BS or MS degree in a plant science discipline
