| Description of duties |
Role Purpose -
To deliver key account information and build relationships and sales offers with top growers in the flowers professional and greenhouse market.
Accountabilities -
- Identify unmet/undiscovered grower customer needs and opportunities for sales growth
- Develop and document sales strategies and goals for grower customers in territory
- Offer/campaign development for top regional grower customers
- Identify new strategic regional customers
- Delivery of single and cross-category grower customer solutions
- Identify and work with growers to initiate trials
- Develop sales and technical support platform for grower customers
- Track sales performance in top regional grower customers across Flowers and Flowers Pro/ L&G
- Develop productive working relationships across all functional areas and business units within Syngenta

| Qualifications sought |
Critical experience
- Horticulture/Business background: Bachelor of Science in Horticulture or Business, with 7-10 years industry , 3-5 years Grower experience, Account manangement experience
- Strong technical understanding of horticulture and specifically genetics, media and plant protection product lines
- Ability to interact with grower customers
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
- Interpersonal skills including strong lislenting capabilities and effective questioning
- Analyze & Solve Grower problems
- Technical aptitude Critical leadership capabilities
- Leadership Skills (Drive Results)
Critical success factors:
- Grower Account Planning (ie Business Plan)
- Relationship Management with Grower
- Sales Planning/Delivery
- Deliver Technical Solutions
- Coordination of GTM Resources
- Working Relations: Strategic Account Management Grower, Product Management, Technical Consultants, Grower
- Willingness to travel in territory 30-50%
