| Description of duties |
Role Purpose -
To achieve sales and financial targets in the assigned region of US by leading area sales/marketing initiatives and supporting national marketing programs and supply processes.
Accountabilities -
- Ensure District operations are executed and aligned with both the GARST and Syngenta Business strategies.
- Maximize sales and financial targets through a targeted dealer strategy
- Form direct relationship with targeted dealer and key accounts in district
- Train, supervise, hire, coach and lead all Sales Reps in assigned district and work with Area Agronomist Manage to lead the area agronomist in assigned district
- Train and coach Sales Reps on recruiting and ensure District meets recruiting goals.
- Plan and direct the execution of all sales and marketing programs within the District and aligned to the overall strategy
- Responsible for District operation budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds (BAA’s); manage with Resource Allocation Tool and weekly LO’s
- Work with Marketing and Product Management in identifying product growth & marketing opportunities for assigned District.
- Collaborate with BU Head to successfully complete projects that align and deliver on the overall strategy, i.e.: targeted retail segmentation and etc.
- Achieve 80% accuracy of corn forecast
- Responsible for supply management decision that align with the overall strategy
- Ensure timely and appropriate resolution of complaints
- Plan and direct lead management processes
- Ensure divisional targets with GH and NK are accomplished.

Critical knowledge:
- Has appropriate level of expertise in core job functions to effectively implement, lead and execute Syngenta’s strategy
Critical experience:
- Minimum education requirement: BA/BS in Ag science or a BA/BS in non-Ag discipline with significant industry background.
