| Description of duties |
The student will join a small team (4) of USDA National Needs Fellows focusing on the ecology and management of invasive plants. Students will be a part of a graduate training grant intended to prepare a cadre of students capable of assessing the impacts of invasive plants, quantifying qualities of invasion resistant communities and devising workable management strategies to address this threat.

| Qualifications sought |
Strong academic credentials in one or several of the following areas: weedy plant ecology, botany, quantitative ecology and management. Also looking for students willing to challenge themselves with a rigorous ecologically oriented (and quantitative) curriculum.
