The 5th International Weed Science Congress will be held June 23 - 27, 2008 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The theme is "Weeds – local problems/global challenge." It will contribute to the core goals of weed research and the empowerment of peoples to manage weeds more effectively for better livelihoods and for conserving global biological diversity.
